FES and the Thai Labour
Solidarity Committee organized the Workshop “Strategy Planning of
Thai Labour Movement 2007” from January 19-21, 2007. The
workshop aimed at evaluating the political and labour situation and
the results of the trade union campaigns during the year 2006.
Another aim was to jointly analyze the current situation and develop
the campaign strategy for the labour movement. Participants were 90
representatives from national labour centers, industrial union
federations, union industrial zone groups and labour NGOs. The
important result achieved was the joint trade union action plan for
2007. Top priorities are the campaign for passing the new Labour
Relation Bill and the Occupational Health and Safety Institute Bill. |
